Wear something comfortable. A dress is not recommended for the appointment, something that exposes the belly easiest, loose fit clothing works best. A 2D image is the familiar, one-dimensional, black-and-white picture used for diagnostic scans and gender reveals. 3D adds dimension, color and the ability to print off scans or save them to a CD. With this scan, you’re able to see more of what your baby looks like, from its tiny fingers to its cute, button nose. 4D imaging is the most cutting-edge of all ultrasound technology and involves seeing your baby’s movements and personality through 3D video captured on a keepsake DVD.
You remain dressed throughout the ultrasound, so it’s best to wear a comfortable pair of pants and top that are easy to move up and down (a dress with shorts underneath is also fine). Plan on arriving 10-15 minutes early; you’ll be greeted by our friendly reception team and given forms to fill out. Once your room is ready, you will be taken back to see your baby on screen for the first time.
Our rooms comfortably seats up to 3 people, but accomodations can be made if your party is larger.
